Position: Senior Oncology Account Manager

Territory: Western Michigan and parts of Northern Indiana (e.g., Gary, South Bend)
Salary Range: $160,000 – $240,000 annually (plus bonus and long-term incentives)
Overview:
The Senior Oncology Account Manager is responsible for driving sales and strengthening relationships with oncology professionals and institutions within the assigned territory. This role combines clinical knowledge, strategic account management, and business acumen to support Genmab’s oncology portfolio, achieve sales targets, and deliver value to healthcare providers and patients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Meet or exceed territory sales goals by effectively positioning Genmab’s oncology products.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with oncologists, practice staff, hospitals, and key stakeholders.
- Develop and execute data-driven territory business plans that prioritize impactful engagements.
- Deliver compliant and value-based product education across digital and in-person channels.
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of oncology disease states, competitors, and reimbursement pathways.
- Manage territory budgets and resources effectively.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams to support brand strategy and execution.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- 5+ years of pharmaceutical sales experience, including 3+ years in oncology (hematology experience preferred).
- Proven success in new product launches and meeting/exceeding sales goals.
- Strong analytical, communication, and account management skills.
- Proficiency with tools such as MS Office, Teams, and Veeva.
- Must live within the assigned territory (Grand Rapids/Western MI area).
