Position: Product Marketing Manager – Proteomics

Overview:
The Product Marketing Manager – Proteomics leads marketing strategy and execution for MSD’s Proteomics product portfolio. This role defines product positioning and messaging, drives go-to-market (GTM) campaigns, equips sales teams with competitive tools, and monitors market and performance metrics to accelerate adoption and growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategy & Positioning: Develop product messaging, value propositions, and differentiation strategies by segment and use case.
- Market Intelligence: Conduct market research and voice-of-customer analysis; maintain competitive intelligence tools such as battlecards and win–loss summaries.
- Content & Campaigns: Create marketing assets (web copy, decks, webinars, case studies) and manage omnichannel campaigns in partnership with digital and MarCom teams.
- Sales Enablement: Provide sales teams with tools and narratives to improve win rates and shorten deal cycles.
- Performance Tracking: Measure and optimize KPIs including lead generation, pipeline growth, and campaign ROI.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in life sciences, engineering, or related field (advanced degree preferred).
- 5+ years of B2B product marketing or commercial experience, ideally in proteomics or life sciences.
- Strong skills in GTM strategy, messaging, competitive positioning, and storytelling.
- Proficiency with marketing and analytics tools (e.g., Salesforce, Marketo, Google Analytics).
- Excellent communication, organizational, and cross-functional leadership skills.
- Ability to travel up to 20%.
