Position:
Life Sciences – North America Sales Manager / Key Account Manager (KAM)
- Location: Indianapolis, Indiana (residential requirement)
- Reports to: North America Sales Director
- Focus: Drive sales growth, manage key accounts, and collaborate across departments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement sales and key account plans in alignment with global strategy.
- Organize and optimize key accounts for effective coverage.
- Monitor sales performance using CRM tools; conduct monthly forecasting and quarterly account reviews.
- Provide customer training, support sales team engagement, and lead go-to-market strategies.
- Collaborate with marketing to identify trends and opportunities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in technical, engineering, or life sciences field.
- 3–5 years of direct capital equipment sales experience in pharmaceuticals, biotech, medical devices, or cleanroom industries.
- Strong technical, analytical, leadership, and consultative sales skills.
- Proficiency with CRM tools (Salesforce, Power BI) and Microsoft Office.
- Familiarity with industry standards and organizations (PDA, IEST, ASTM, ISEP) preferred.
Travel: 40–70%
Work Environment: Office, lab, and manufacturing settings; some lifting (up to 20 lbs) required.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Base salary: $67,500 – $103,500 plus commissions
