Position: Project Manager – Government Contracts, Ginkgo Automation
Salary: $77,300–$109,100 + stock awards and comprehensive benefits
Role Overview:
Lead complex, cross-functional projects supporting U.S. government contracts. Ensure scope, schedule, cost, and risk are managed effectively across multiple teams while maintaining compliance with government regulations and company standards. Communicate regularly with customers and provide required documentation and reports.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, execute, and deliver projects under government contracts.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and performance baselines using Primavera, MS Project, or similar tools.
- Generate and submit Earned Value Management (EVM) reports to track performance.
- Coordinate activities across engineering, manufacturing, quality, and operations teams.
- Manage subcontractors and vendors to ensure timely, compliant delivery.
- Identify risks and implement mitigation plans.
- Maintain documentation and reporting in line with FAR, DFARS, and company standards.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Science, Engineering, Business, or related field.
- 2–5 years of project management experience, including managing schedules, budgets, and performance tracking.
- Experience with U.S. government contracts and compliance requirements.
- Strong communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency in project management software (Primavera, MS Project).
Preferred:
- Experience in fast-paced, deep-tech companies.
- Direct experience with DoD, DOE, NIH, or similar contracts.
- Knowledge of lab automation, hardware systems, or integrated technology solutions.
- Strong analytical and cross-functional team coordination skills.
