Oxford Nanopore Technologies is seeking an Inside Sales Account Manager responsible for driving revenue growth within an assigned territory by managing inbound leads, nurturing existing customer relationships, and collaborating with Marketing, Field Sales, and Channel teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Qualify and convert inbound leads from first contact to close.
- Expand product usage through consultative upselling and cross-selling.
- Communicate product updates and technical details to customers.
- Partner with Marketing on targeted outreach campaigns and webinars.
- Maintain accurate CRM records, forecasts, and account intelligence.
- Support field sales with research, meeting preparation, and quotes.
- Foster customer retention and post-sale satisfaction.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (preferably in Life Sciences, Genetics, or Genomics).
- Proven inside sales/commercial experience with life science customers.
- Understanding of DNA sequencing technologies.
- Proficiency with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot).
- Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred:
- PhD and/or experience in global, multi-stakeholder sales environments (academia, biotech, pharma, clinical, or government).
Salary: $66,000–$83,000 USD, based on experience.
