Oncology Account Manager – Nuvation Bio (Field-Based Role)
Overview:
The Oncology Account Manager will serve as the primary commercial contact for Nuvation Bio within an assigned territory, driving sales and market awareness for oncology products—particularly in NSCLC (non-small cell lung cancer). This role involves building strategic relationships with healthcare professionals, developing territory business plans, and executing commercial strategies to achieve and exceed sales goals. The position reports to the Regional Business Director and requires frequent travel.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and manage strong relationships with key oncology stakeholders and healthcare providers.
- Drive demand generation, promote Nuvation Bio products, and ensure appropriate product use.
- Develop and execute strategic account plans using market insights and analytics.
- Conduct professional presentations conveying complex scientific information.
- Utilize digital and omnichannel tools to enhance engagement and align with brand strategy.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, medical, and market access teams.
- Represent Nuvation Bio at conferences and industry events.
- Maintain accurate reporting and compliance with all company and regulatory standards.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Life Sciences, or related field.
- 7+ years of pharmaceutical/biotech sales experience, with 5+ years in oncology (solid tumors or oral oncolytics) preferred.
- Proven track record of exceeding sales goals and launching new products.
- Strong experience with key opinion leaders and large healthcare networks.
- Proficiency with digital sales tools and virtual engagement platforms.
- Must live within the assigned territory and be able to travel up to 65% overnight.
- Must meet medical facility credentialing requirements.
