The Senior Director of Business Development will lead Bioptimus’s commercial and partnership strategy, driving revenue growth and market expansion for its AI-powered biology products.
Key Responsibilities
- Go-to-Market Strategy: Define and optimize how Bioptimus positions and deploys its AI models and scientific products.
- Strategic Partnerships: Identify, negotiate, and manage collaborations with key biopharma stakeholders.
- Revenue Growth: Meet and exceed sales and business development targets through data-driven strategies.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Represent Bioptimus at industry events; deliver compelling pitches; build and sustain strong partner relationships.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with R&D, marketing, and product teams to align commercial and scientific goals.
Ideal Profile
- Master’s in Business or Science (PhD preferred).
- Extensive experience selling to pharma and biotech, with proven business impact.
- Knowledge of AI applications in biomedical research, SaaS models, and the biomedical data lifecycle.
- Strong network within US/EU pharma R&D.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and relationship-building skills.
- Strategic thinker with a hands-on, collaborative, and adaptable mindset.
Bonus Experience
- Worked in VC-backed, high-growth companies.
- International and multicultural background.
- PhD in Biology, Machine Learning, or AI.
