Role Overview:
The Senior Director of Business Development will lead Bioptimus’s go-to-market strategy, strategic partnerships, and revenue growth initiatives. This role combines commercial leadership with deep engagement across the biopharma and biotech ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities:
- Go-to-Market Strategy: Define and optimize the positioning and deployment of Bioptimus’s AI models and products.
- Strategic Partnerships: Identify, negotiate, and manage collaborations with major biopharma stakeholders.
- Revenue Growth: Achieve or exceed business development and sales targets; analyze metrics to guide strategy.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Represent Bioptimus at industry events; deliver impactful pitches and presentations; build and maintain strong partner relationships.
- Collaboration: Work closely with R&D, marketing, and product teams to align commercial and scientific goals.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Business or Science (PhD a plus).
- Extensive experience selling to pharma and biotech, with proven business results.
- Knowledge of AI applications in biomedical research, SaaS models, and the biomedical data lifecycle.
- Strong network in US/EU pharmaceutical R&D.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to thrive in fast-paced, high-growth environments.
- Collaborative, creative, and team-oriented mindset.
Preferred:
- Experience in VC-backed, high-growth startups.
- International and multicultural background.
- PhD in Biology, AI, or related field.
