Role Overview:
BA Sciences is seeking a Business Development Representative. The BDR is responsible for driving new business growth and expanding existing client relationships in the life sciences sector. This individual contributor role blends strategic prospecting with hands-on sales execution, targeting high-value accounts and managing the full sales cycle.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute targeted sales strategies to meet revenue goals.
- Identify and qualify new leads using research and market insight.
- Deliver persuasive presentations showcasing BA Sciences' services.
- Manage the full sales cycle—from outreach to contract and onboarding.
- Grow existing accounts through cross-selling and up-selling.
- Maintain accurate CRM records and forecasts (Salesforce).
- Collaborate cross-functionally and represent the company at industry events.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- 3+ years of client-facing sales experience with proven success in account acquisition.
- Formal sales training (Sandler, SPIN, Challenger) preferred.
- Life sciences sales or laboratory experience (analytical/microbiology) preferred.
- Familiarity with USP procedures, analytical testing methods, and regulatory standards (FDA, ISO, cGMP) is a plus.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Able to travel up to 25% (some international travel possible).
