Role Overview:
Nuvation Bio is seeking an Oncology Account Manager. As a key member of the commercial sales team, the Oncology Account Manager will lead sales efforts in a designated territory, focusing on NSCLC (non-small cell lung cancer). This includes engaging healthcare professionals, driving product awareness, and executing strategic account plans. The position requires strong oncology market knowledge and will report to a Regional Business Director.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary commercial contact within the territory.
- Build relationships with healthcare professionals and drive demand.
- Create and implement strategic account plans using insights and data.
- Promote products compliantly and educate on their clinical value.
- Collaborate cross-functionally (marketing, medical, access).
- Represent the company at medical conferences and events.
- Complete administrative duties and ensure compliance with company and regulatory policies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree (life sciences or business preferred).
- 7+ years in pharmaceutical/biotech sales; 5+ years in oncology (solid tumors preferred).
- Proven success in sales, especially in small or competitive markets.
- Experience with NSCLC, KOLs, and launching new therapies.
- Technically proficient, adaptable, and entrepreneurial mindset.
- Willingness to travel (up to 65%) and meet credentialing requirements.
