Director of Marketing
Location: Boston, MA (Hybrid – 3 days/week in office)
Overview:
Bicara Therapeutics is hiring a Director of Marketing to lead brand strategy and prepare for the global and U.S. launch of its lead oncology asset, Ficerafusp alfa. Reporting to the VP of Commercial, this high-impact role focuses on pre-launch planning, stakeholder engagement, and omnichannel marketing, in a fast-paced biotech setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute an integrated brand strategy and launch plan.
- Drive disease education, audience segmentation, and stakeholder mapping (patients, providers, institutions).
- Create insight-driven messaging and market activation strategies.
- Build an omnichannel marketing presence for pre-commercial engagement.
- Collaborate with Medical Affairs on KOL engagement and advocacy.
- Lead agency selection and creative development for marketing materials.
- Act as marketing lead on cross-functional launch readiness teams.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Marketing, or Business (MBA/advanced degree preferred).
- 8–10+ years in biopharma commercial roles, with oncology and launch experience strongly preferred.
- Background in product marketing, digital strategy, or omnichannel execution.
- Skilled in stakeholder engagement, KOL strategy, and patient advocacy.
- Strong cross-functional leadership and project management skills.
- Entrepreneurial, adaptable mindset suited for a high-growth biotech.
