Summary:
BioIVT is seeking a Business Development Manager to remotely cover the Northern California territory. This individual will be responsible for driving regional sales of BioIVT’s biospecimens and life science research services to pharmaceutical, biotech, and diagnostics companies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Achieve quarterly and annual sales targets.
- Develop and maintain client relationships through lead generation, cold calling, and strategic outreach.
- Prepare proposals and negotiate complex business deals.
- Coordinate sales strategies including trade shows, seminars, and presentations.
- Stay current on scientific trends and company products to effectively position offerings.
- Maintain CRM documentation and provide regular feedback to leadership.
- Collaborate with global sales teams (US & EU) in a matrix organization structure.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of sales or business development experience in life sciences.
- BA/BS in science or business (fields like microbiology, biology, chemistry preferred).
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrated ability to understand complex customer needs and offer tailored solutions.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office; CRM experience required.
- Team player with a customer-first, results-driven mindset.
