Role Overview:
Kyfora Bio is seeking a Product Manager to lead the strategic growth of its transfection reagents and related tools for gene and cell therapy. The role combines scientific knowledge and market insight to drive new product development, portfolio expansion, and commercialization efforts. This position is key to bringing innovative bioprocessing solutions from concept to market.
Key Responsibilities:
- Product Strategy & Portfolio Expansion
- Identify market needs and technology trends
- Drive the product roadmap and long-term strategy
- New Product Development & Commercialization
- Lead product launches from ideation through execution
- Define value propositions, pricing, and positioning
- Market Research & Voice of Customer (VOC)
- Conduct research to validate opportunities and refine go-to-market plans
- Stay current on gene delivery and upstream bioprocessing trends
- Product Lifecycle Management
- Monitor product performance, manage inventory, and analyze margins
- Coordinate with operations, supply chain, and quality teams
- Scientific Communication & Enablement
- Create technical content and marketing materials
- Support internal training, customer education, and distributor onboarding
- Customer & Partner Engagement
- Collaborate with academic, biotech, and CDMO partners
- Support adoption through campaigns, webinars, and tradeshows
Qualifications:
Required:
- Bachelor’s in Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Cell Biology, or related field (MS/PhD preferred)
- 3–5+ years in product management, technical marketing, or field applications
- Experience in transfection, gene delivery, or molecular biology tools
- Strong project management and cross-functional leadership skills
- Business acumen (P&L, pricing, forecasting)
- Effective communication of complex scientific concepts
Preferred:
- Hands-on lab experience in transfection or cell therapy
- Familiarity with RUO, GMP, or ISO environments
- Experience with international customers or channel partners
