Role Overview:
Novotech is seeking a Director of Business Development who will lead a high-performing team focused on driving new business growth in a specific region. The role emphasizes team development, strategic sales planning, and achieving annual revenue targets through effective leadership and collaboration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Team & Resource Management:
- Build and manage a skilled BD team within budget.
- Hire, train, and allocate resources to meet annual targets.
- Team Development:
- Promote a culture of collaboration, learning, and excellence.
- Lead by example and support the team’s success and engagement.
- Sales Management & Coaching:
- Oversee the entire sales cycle.
- Set and monitor goals, KPIs, and performance metrics.
- Provide coaching and professional development.
- Strategic Planning:
- Develop and implement regional strategies aligned with company goals.
- Collaborate with marketing and commercial teams to drive growth and RFP opportunities.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Degree in clinical or life sciences.
- Strong background in CRO study management and clinical trials.
- Deep knowledge of biotech and APAC clinical trial markets.
- Skilled in budgeting, proposals, and contract negotiations.
- Experienced in sales strategies, KPI achievement, and team leadership.
- Proven ability to foster a positive, high-performance culture.
Salary Range:
$150,000 – $180,000 USD (based on experience)
