Summary:
Argenyx is seeking a Vice President US Commercial Operations, Insights and Data Analytics. This executive role is responsible for driving commercial success in the U.S. biotech market through operational excellence, data-driven strategies, and deep market insights. The position integrates commercial operations, advanced analytics, forecasting, and research to inform strategic decisions, optimize performance, and support innovation—particularly in rare diseases and specialty therapeutics.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead all aspects of US commercial operations and insights, including:
- Commercial planning, training, performance tracking
- Primary & secondary research, forecasting, incentive compensation
- Launch excellence, HCP targeting, segmentation, and field analytics
- Build and lead a high-performing team across analytics, business intelligence, and operations
- Develop and execute data and analytics strategies to support brand and market understanding
- Partner with cross-functional teams (Marketing, Medical Affairs, Finance, R&D) to align on commercial goals
- Serve as a strategic advisor to leadership, providing actionable, forward-looking insights
- Oversee competitive intelligence, scenario planning, and performance dashboards
- Champion AI and digital innovation in commercial analytics, in collaboration with IT
- Ensure vendor management and regulatory compliance
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s in Business, Life Sciences, Data Science, or related field; advanced degree preferred
- 15+ years in commercial operations, insights, or analytics roles in biotech/pharma
- Deep expertise in rare diseases and competitive therapeutic markets
- Proven leadership in building and mentoring high-performing teams
- Strong understanding of US healthcare system, including buy-and-bill models
- Skilled in synthesizing data into strategic insights for senior stakeholders
- Familiarity with tools like Excel, Tableau, SQL, Python/R and AI applications
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally
