Position Summary:
Temopus is seeking a MRD Clinical Account Executive who is responsible for driving strategic sales growth and partnerships for Tempus's molecular diagnostics solutions, particularly in Minimal Residual Disease (MRD) testing. This role focuses on expanding business across major cancer centers, academic institutions, health systems, and top oncology practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Expand MRD testing adoption by targeting top oncology practices, academic centers, and KOLs.
- Build and execute territory-specific strategic plans for client acquisition and retention.
- Negotiate and manage client-bill contracts and Laboratory Service Agreements (LSAs).
- Collaborate with internal sales teams to meet revenue goals and ensure alignment.
- Monitor competitive landscape and market trends to inform strategy.
- Promote adoption of Tempus’s molecular and SaaS-based tools.
- Represent Tempus’s values and brand across all interactions.
Required Skills:
- Strong consultative sales and strategic account planning abilities.
- Deep knowledge of molecular diagnostics, oncology, and payer/reimbursement systems.
- Confident engaging with executive-level stakeholders (CEO, COO, CFO).
- Proficient in Salesforce, Microsoft Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Skilled in cross-functional collaboration and managing complex sales cycles.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in life sciences, business, or marketing (MBA preferred).
- 3+ years of successful sales/account management experience in molecular diagnostics.
- Proven track record of revenue generation in diagnostics, pharma, or biotech.
- Experience working with cancer centers, oncology GPOs, health systems, and large oncology networks.
- Willingness to travel extensively (50%+).
Compensation:
$95,000 – $155,000
