Role Overview:
Tempus is seeking a MRD Clinical Account Executive is responsible for selling Minimal Residual Disease (MRD) testing services to oncology-focused healthcare providers. The role centers on strategic business development, territory management, and building strong relationships with major cancer centers, health systems, and community oncology practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive MRD testing adoption within assigned territory.
- Build relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), clinicians, and executives.
- Develop and execute client acquisition and retention strategies.
- Manage client-bill contracts and Laboratory Service Agreements (LSAs).
- Collaborate with internal sales teams to meet growth targets.
- Analyze market trends and provide feedback to leadership.
- Represent Tempus’s values with professionalism and integrity.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of account management experience in molecular diagnostics (MRD preferred).
- Proven track record in consultative sales and revenue generation.
- Strong understanding of oncology diagnostics and reimbursement landscape.
- Skilled in Salesforce, Excel, PowerPoint; strong communication and presentation abilities.
- Bachelor’s degree in life sciences, business, or marketing (MBA preferred).
