Position Summary:
Tempus is seeking a MRD Clinical Account Executive is responsible for selling and expanding the use of Tempus’s Minimal Residual Disease (MRD) testing across a defined territory. This includes driving adoption among academic medical centers, health systems, and oncology practices through strategic business development and collaboration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Promote MRD testing to cancer centers, health systems, and community oncology practices.
- Build and maintain relationships with KOLs and healthcare decision-makers.
- Develop territory-specific business plans and strategic account strategies.
- Manage client contracts, including lab service agreements (LSAs).
- Provide market feedback and competitive intelligence to leadership.
- Collaborate with cross-functional sales and support teams.
- Represent Tempus’s brand and values with integrity and professionalism.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of sales/account management in molecular diagnostics (MRD experience preferred).
- Strong track record in consultative selling and revenue generation.
- Deep knowledge of oncology, diagnostics, and reimbursement landscape.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Proficient in Salesforce, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Bachelor’s degree in life sciences, business, or marketing (MBA preferred).
