Position Summary:
The MRD Clinical Account Executive is responsible for promoting and selling Tempus’s Minimal Residual Disease (MRD) testing services. The role focuses on driving adoption among academic medical centers, health systems, and oncology practices by building strategic partnerships and executing territory-specific business plans.
Key Responsibilities:
- Promote MRD testing to clinicians and decision-makers within cancer centers, health systems, and community practices.
- Engage Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and establish long-term partnerships.
- Drive client acquisition and retention through strategic planning and contracting (e.g., LSAs).
- Collaborate with internal sales teams to meet company goals.
- Analyze market trends and provide feedback to leadership.
- Manage all aspects of territory planning, including budgets and travel.
- Uphold and represent Tempus’s company values and culture.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- 3+ years in molecular diagnostics, preferably with MRD experience.
- Strong consultative sales skills and proven revenue generation.
- Experience working with cancer centers, GPOs, and large health systems.
- Deep understanding of oncology diagnostics and reimbursement landscape.
- Skilled in Salesforce, Microsoft Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Bachelor’s degree in life sciences, business, or marketing (MBA preferred).
Salary Range:
$95,000 – $150,000
