Position Summary:
The MRD Clinical Account Executive is responsible for driving sales and adoption of Tempus’s Minimal Residual Disease (MRD) testing services across a defined territory. This role focuses on engaging with oncology healthcare providers, academic centers, and health systems to integrate MRD testing into clinical practice.
Key Responsibilities:
- Promote MRD testing within major cancer centers, health systems, and community practices.
- Build relationships with clinicians, KOLs, and executives to drive adoption and client-bill contracts.
- Execute strategic business development plans to grow and retain accounts.
- Collaborate with internal sales and support teams to meet company goals.
- Analyze market trends and provide feedback to leadership.
- Manage territory planning, budgets, and reporting via Salesforce.
Requirements:
- 3+ years in molecular diagnostics sales, ideally with MRD experience.
- Proven success in consultative, executive-level sales in oncology diagnostics.
- Strong understanding of payer/reimbursement landscape.
- Independent, results-driven, and skilled in project and territory management.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and Salesforce.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in life sciences, business, or marketing required. MBA preferred.
Salary Range:
$95,000 – $155,000
