Role Overview:
Cytokinetics is seeking an Inventory and Operations Manager who oversees processes supporting the manufacturing and movement of pharmaceutical products across the supply chain. They ensure accurate inventory management, timely transaction execution, and maintain data integrity as a key Subject Matter Expert (SME) in Planning & Inventory Operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate supply chain transactions (goods receipts, issues, transfers) with suppliers, manufacturers, and logistics providers.
- Conduct inventory audits, reconcile discrepancies, and ensure accurate inventory valuation with Finance.
- Collaborate with Quality, Procurement, Logistics, and Planning teams to manage inventory status and demand planning.
- Serve as Master Data Management steward to ensure data accuracy and support flawless supply chain execution.
- Develop process maps, documentation, and training materials for inventory management processes.
- Ensure compliance with pharmaceutical regulations (GMP, GDP) and maintain accurate transaction records.
- Track key performance indicators (KPIs), analyze process performance, and drive continuous improvements.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to optimize supply chain efficiency.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or related field; Master’s/MBA preferred.
- 5+ years’ experience in pharmaceutical supply chain or inventory management.
- Familiarity with supply chain software/ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
- Knowledge of pharmaceutical regulations and strong attention to detail.
- Ability to manage priorities under pressure and travel as needed.
