Summary:
Arrowhead Pharmaceuticals is hiring Cardiovascular Rare Disease Specialists (RDS) to support the commercial launch of Plozasiran, a late-stage investigational therapy targeting rare cardiometabolic conditions such as Familial Chylomicronemia Syndrome (FCS) and Severe Hypertriglyceridemia (SHTG). This role is key to driving product adoption and may expand to include additional pipeline products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Territory & Account Management:
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans, build relationships with HCPs, KOLs, and healthcare institutions to drive product uptake.
- Stakeholder Engagement:
- Navigate complex healthcare systems, manage relationships within large institutions, and remain adaptable in a dynamic environment.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Work with internal teams (Marketing, Medical Affairs, Market Access, etc.) to align field strategy and share market insights.
- Travel & Conferences:
- Represent the company at industry events; approximately 30% travel, with some overnight stays based on territory.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years in pharmaceutical sales; 3+ years in rare disease or cardiovascular preferred
- Proven success with specialty or complex therapies
- Strong knowledge of cardiology or related areas
- Excellent planning, communication, and relationship-building skills
Compensation & Benefits:
- Base salary: $130,000–$170,000 + performance-based incentives
