Role Overview:
Arrowhead Pharmaceuticals is hiring Cardiovascular Rare Disease Specialists to support the commercial launch of Plozasiran, a late-stage RNA-based therapy targeting APOC3 for rare cardiometabolic conditions such as Familial Chylomicronemia Syndrome (FCS) and Severe Hypertriglyceridemia (SHTG). This is a high-impact, field-based role focused on driving adoption of a breakthrough therapy in a specialized market.
Key Responsibilities:
- Territory & Account Management:
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to exceed targets.
- Build relationships with HCPs, KOLs, hospitals, and IDNs.
- Ensure high-quality, consistent engagement across accounts.
- Stakeholder & System Navigation:
- Work within complex healthcare systems and decision-making environments.
- Demonstrate agility in managing multiple stakeholders.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Align with Marketing, Medical Affairs, Market Access, and other internal teams.
- Share field insights to help shape commercial strategies.
- Travel & Representation:
- Attend industry meetings and trainings (~30% travel, including overnights).
Requirements:
- 5+ years of pharma sales experience; 3+ years in rare disease or cardiovascular specialties preferred
- Proven success with complex therapies and navigating market access
- Strong knowledge of cardiology or rare disease landscape
- Excellent communication, planning, and relationship-building skills
