Overview
Unchained Labs is hiring a proactive and results-driven sales professional to lead commercial efforts in the Northern California / Bay Area territory. This role focuses on capital equipment sales in life sciences, particularly within the biologics and gene therapy markets. It requires a strong ability to identify, nurture, and close new business, along with solid technical knowledge and sales strategy skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a territory sales strategy; report to the Chief Commercial Officer.
- Conduct on-site product demos to grow the sales pipeline and close deals.
- Represent Unchained Labs at external meetings, demos, and scientific conferences.
- Maintain and grow customer relationships post-sale.
- Collaborate with marketing on local campaigns and lead generation.
- Track and report monthly KPIs and ensure territory growth targets are met.
- Analyze market dynamics to support new product and assay development.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a life sciences field (e.g., biology, biochemistry, molecular biology).
- 5+ years of sales experience, preferably in life sciences instrumentation.
- Experience in complex capital sales and multi-stakeholder environments.
- Familiarity with Salesforce CRM and modern sales tools.
- Experience in biologics/gene therapy markets is a plus.
- Must reside in or be willing to relocate to Northern California / Bay Area.
