Overview
Unchained Labs is seeking an experienced, driven Account Manager to lead commercial sales efforts in New England. This role focuses on capital equipment sales in life sciences, particularly targeting the biologics and gene therapy markets. Success in this position requires a mix of technical knowledge, sales experience, and relationship-building.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive sales by identifying, nurturing, and closing new business opportunities.
- Deliver product demos and represent Unchained Labs at customer sites, conferences, and events.
- Develop and execute a proactive territory sales strategy.
- Maintain and grow customer relationships post-sale.
- Collaborate with marketing for localized lead generation.
- Track and report KPIs and contribute to overall business growth.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant life science field (e.g., biology, bioengineering).
- 5+ years of sales experience, ideally in life sciences or instrumentation.
- Experience with Salesforce.com or other CRM tools.
- Familiarity with biologics and gene therapy markets strongly preferred.
- Proven success in complex sales environments with multiple decision-makers.
- Must be based in New England, preferably near Boston.
