Summary:
Location: Princeton, NJ (Hybrid – 60% onsite)
Genmab is hiring an Associate Director of Consumer Marketing to lead patient and caregiver marketing strategies for the U.S. launch of its first wholly-owned Gyn-Onc product. This is a newly created role critical to the brand's consumer-facing strategy and execution. Reporting to the Director of Consumer Marketing, this person will work cross-functionally with teams such as Digital, Patient Advocacy, and Professional Promotion.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement consumer marketing campaigns for patients, caregivers, and allied health professionals.
- Collaborate across brand, digital, advocacy, and patient support teams to ensure aligned messaging and outreach.
- Lead congress strategy for allied health and advocacy-related events.
- Oversee external agencies and manage internal cross-functional relationships.
- Translate clinical data into accessible educational content across digital, print, and events.
- Utilize insights and data to inform decisions and optimize campaign performance.
- Ensure compliance through collaboration with Legal, Medical, and Regulatory (MLR) teams.
- Manage budgets, timelines, and project deliverables.
Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree; MBA or related advanced degree preferred.
- 10+ years in marketing, with 3+ years in consumer/patient marketing (biotech/pharma/healthcare).
- Recent product launch experience, preferably in Gyn-Onc or solid tumors.
- Strong understanding of FDA regulations for DTC healthcare marketing.
- Experience with accelerated approval pathways (Subpart E or H).
- Ability to travel up to 25%.
Preferred:
- Background in emerging pharma or startup environments.
- Entrepreneurial, self-starter with strong communication and project management skills.
- Experience with ADC, immuno-oncology, targeted therapy, or personalized medicine launches.
- Collaborative and adaptable in fast-paced, ambiguous environments.
