Overview:
TetraScience is hiring a Technical Project Manager to lead a high-profile scientific data transformation initiative for a key client in Vienna, Austria. This on-site role involves driving cross-functional delivery of complex, multi-workstream programs that modernize how scientific data is used across R&D.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end execution of a large-scale data transformation program across 10+ R&D workstreams.
- Run daily stand-ups, manage KPIs, and maintain real-time dashboards.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams (engineering, product, data science) to deliver AI/ML-ready scientific data solutions.
- Identify and manage complex technical dependencies (cloud infrastructure, pipelines, AI deployment).
- Take full ownership of outcomes, removing blockers and escalating risks immediately.
- Operate in a high-urgency, no-playbook environment to drive measurable value.
Requirements:
- 10+ years in project management delivering complex technical solutions with multiple concurrent workstreams.
- Experience in the biopharma industry.
- Proven leadership in Agile (Scrum/Kanban), customer-facing projects.
- Strong communication and influencing skills—able to explain technical issues to non-technical stakeholders.
- Proficiency in BI tools for live dashboard reporting.
- Ability to work on-site 4–5 days/week in Vienna, Austria.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 7+ years managing large-scale, multi-stakeholder technology programs.
- Degree in Computer Science, Life Sciences, Business, or equivalent.
- Project management certifications (e.g., PMP, CSM).
- Familiarity with scientific instruments, data integration, AI/ML, and GxP compliance.
- Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- Ability to effectively engage senior stakeholders (VP/C-level).
