Overview:
TetraScience is hiring a Technical Project Manager for a high-impact, on-site role dedicated to a major client in Cambridge, MA. This role leads a first-of-its-kind scientific data transformation initiative across 10+ workstreams in R&D, requiring ownership, urgency, and cross-functional coordination.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end delivery of a large-scale, data-centric program in the life sciences sector.
- Run daily stand-ups, manage KPIs, and maintain live dashboards for real-time status updates.
- Coordinate with engineering, product, and science teams to deliver integrated use cases.
- Manage complex dependencies in cloud infrastructure, data pipelines, and AI model deployment.
- Quickly remove blockers or escalate risks to maintain project momentum.
- Operate effectively without a playbook in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
Required Qualifications:
- 10+ years in project management, with 5+ years managing multiple concurrent technical workstreams.
- Experience in biopharma or life sciences.
- Strong Agile (Scrum/Kanban) leadership in customer-facing environments.
- Excellent communication skills, especially simplifying technical content for varied audiences.
- Skilled in using BI tools for live reporting dashboards.
- Strong influencing skills, even without formal authority.
- On-site availability in Cambridge, MA (4–5 days/week).
Preferred/Ideal Background:
- 7+ years managing complex, multi-stakeholder technology programs.
- Degree in Computer Science, Life Sciences, or Business.
- Formal project management certifications (PMP, CSM, etc.).
- Familiarity with scientific instrumentation, data integration, AI/ML, and GxP compliance.
- Experience with public cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
