Overview:
Vera Therapeutics is seeking an experienced and strategic Associate Director, Talent Acquisition to lead full-cycle recruitment efforts and help scale our growing organization. This role will partner closely with hiring managers and HR to attract, engage, and hire top talent while ensuring a seamless and positive candidate experience.
The ideal candidate brings deep recruiting expertise, strong communication skills, and the ability to operate in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Experience building commercial or cross-functional teams in biotech or life sciences is a strong plus.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and execute full-cycle recruiting across multiple functions and levels.
- Collaborate with hiring managers to define roles, streamline processes, and ensure high-quality hires.
- Contribute to employer branding, hiring metrics, and candidate experience improvements.
- Stay current on recruitment trends and best practices.
- Support training for hiring managers and interviewers in partnership with the broader HR team.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- 8+ years of progressive full-cycle recruiting experience, ideally in a startup or high-growth environment.
- Proven ability to partner with leadership to build high-performing teams.
- Strong grasp of recruitment channels, tools, and metrics.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Biotech/life sciences experience and small/mid-size company background preferred.
