Summary:
AGC Biologics, a global CDMO, is seeking a Senior Director of Business Development to lead growth in its Mammalian segment. This role focuses on identifying and closing new development and manufacturing partnerships across the U.S., supporting the commercialization of next-gen biopharmaceuticals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and manage strategic client relationships to drive new business
- Develop and execute regional sales strategies and territory plans
- Lead proposal development, client visits, and deal negotiations
- Collaborate cross-functionally (technical, legal, finance) to close deals
- Provide market insights and represent AGC at industry events
- Maintain pipeline activity in CRM and meet/exceed sales targets
Qualifications:
- 10+ years in business development or sales (preferably in CDMO/life sciences)
- Bachelor’s in Life Sciences, Business, or related field
- Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
- Willingness to travel ~50%
