Overview:
This role focuses on driving new customer acquisition and expanding relationships with existing global pharma and biotech clients, especially in CMC (Chemistry, Manufacturing, and Controls) and related domains.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a territory sales plan aligned with company goals.
- Generate and manage a robust sales pipeline.
- Collaborate with Pre-Sales, Product, and Marketing teams to deliver tailored demos and proposals.
- Build and grow client relationships, manage renewals, and identify upsell/cross-sell opportunities.
- Stay current on industry trends and competitive solutions.
- Contribute to technical sales content and provide feedback to Product and Engineering.
- Travel (~30%) and attend industry events (~20%).
Requirements:
- Strong network in top 100 global pharma/biotech companies.
- 5+ years in CMC, process development, or commercial manufacturing.
- 7+ years in management consulting or pharma tech transformation.
- Proven sales experience, including RFI/RFP leadership.
- Experience with CMC-related tech solutions (e.g., LIMS, ELN, MES).
- Excellent executive communication and problem-solving skills.
- Scientific or engineering degree.
- Willingness to travel extensively.
