AssayQuant® Technologies is hiring a Regional Sales Professional to expand its customer base and revenue across the East Coast and Midwest. The company specializes in innovative enzyme activity assays, notably the PhosphoSens® platform, used extensively in preclinical drug discovery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead sales efforts for products and custom testing services in assigned regions.
- Develop and manage customer relationships, focusing on new account acquisition and existing account growth using tools like HubSpot.
- Use deep knowledge of company and competitor technologies to identify strategic opportunities.
- Collaborate with internal teams across scientific, marketing, operations, and legal functions to support and close deals.
- Provide strategic input into new products, market opportunities, and business development plans.
- Track and report sales activities and maintain accurate CRM records.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant scientific field (advanced degree preferred).
- 5+ years of sales or business development experience in life science tools or services.
- Strong knowledge of the drug discovery/development process, including assays and profiling methods.
- Experience with or knowledge of the kinase assay market is a strong plus.
- Deep understanding of the life sciences market, including pharma, biotech, CROs, government, and academia; established industry contacts preferred.
- Proven ability to develop markets, build distribution/KOL networks, and close deals.
- Excellent sales, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM platforms; strong analytical and data interpretation skills.
- Willingness and ability to travel domestically as needed.
