Lead strategic sales growth in reagents and custom manufacturing for the life sciences.
Boston BioProducts, a leader in buffers and reagents for molecular biology, assay development, and bioprocessing, is seeking a Director of Sales to drive commercial strategy and expand revenue across catalog and custom manufacturing services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute sales strategies in partnership with executive leadership.
- Manage and forecast a high-performing sales pipeline.
- Build, coach, and lead a direct sales team.
- Expand relationships across pharma, biotech, CRO/CDMOs, diagnostics, and academia.
- Negotiate complex proposals and contracts.
- Collaborate with marketing and product teams to align messaging and campaigns.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activity.
- Represent the company at industry events and client meetings.
Qualifications:
- BS/BA in Life Sciences; advanced degree preferred.
- 3+ years of experience managing sales teams in the life sciences industry.
- Strong understanding of the biopharma and CRO/CDMO markets.
- Proven success in selling catalog/custom reagents and services.
- Proficiency in CRM tools, sales forecasting, and Microsoft Suite.
- Willingness to travel up to 50%.
