About the Role:
Rancho BioSciences is seeking a Business Development Representative (BDR) to drive client engagement, generate leads, and support sales pipeline growth across the West Coast region. This role focuses on building strong client relationships and promoting Rancho’s data services and solutions to biotech and life sciences clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Generate and qualify leads; engage in outbound calling, emailing, and follow-up.
- Build and maintain relationships with clients to promote product awareness.
- Collaborate with account managers to support regional sales strategy.
- Track activities and opportunities using Salesforce CRM.
- Create presentations and contribute to sales content development.
- Stay informed on healthcare and life sciences industry trends.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Biology, Chemistry, Bioinformatics, or a related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in sales or business development (internships included) within life sciences.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Comfortable with remote collaboration and self-driven sales activity.
- Customer-oriented mindset with strong problem-solving skills.
Compensation:
